The TechSportKit project has launched a European survey to better understand how sport organisations are using digital tools and technologies, and what this means for skills, training and workforce development across the sector..
Sport organisations across Europe are increasingly using digital systems to support administration, communication, coaching, events, data management, sport operations and organisational development. These tools range from basic digital solutions, such as email and spreadsheets, to more advanced systems, including specialised platforms and AI-based tools.

Why your contribution matters
The survey aims to collect evidence on how sport organisations perceive and use digital tools and technologies in their daily work. It will examine the benefits, opportunities and challenges linked to digitalisation, as well as the digital skills needs and training priorities emerging across the sector.
The findings will contribute to a wider European study on digitalisation in sport, which will inform the next stages of the project, including work on digital competencies and training resources for the sport workforce.
Who should complete the survey?
The survey is open to sport organisations across Europe, including organisations with different levels of digital experience and capacity. Contributions are welcome from organisations already using advanced digital systems, as well as those using basic tools or still exploring how digitalisation could support their work.
Responses from a broad range of sport organisations will help the project build a clearer picture of current practice, skills gaps and training needs across the sector.
The questionnaire takes approximately 12 minutes to complete and mainly consists of tick-box questions.
