On Tuesday, 3 November 2026 at 11:00 CET, the IN-FORMS project partners invite sport organisations, employers, employees and professionals from across Europe to join the European Online Conference Building a Sustainable Sport Workforce: New Approaches to Sport Employment.
Over the course of the IN-FORMS project, partners from across Europe have worked together to gain a better understanding of employment in the sport sector. The project has explored the challenges facing the sport workforce, identified opportunities for professionalisation and developed practical resources to support sport organisations and professionals.
During this 90-minute online conference, the key findings, outcomes and practical resources from the IN-FORMS project will be presented and shared with the European sport sector.
From research findings to practical resources
What is the current state of sport employment in Europe? Which challenges and opportunities will shape the future of the sport workforce? And how can sport organisations use the outcomes of INFORMS in practice?
The conference will provide an accessible overview of the main results of the project. Participants will hear about the key findings on sport employment in Europe and will be introduced to the IN-FORMS Toolkit for Sport Employers and Workers, as well as guides to using non-traditional forms of employment. Practical case studies will demonstrate how innovation in employment can be applied within the sport sector.
