This month (March 2024) EOSE has expanded its staff team with the appointment of Wojciech Waśniewski. Wojciech will be involved across the whole range of EOSE projects and activities, with a particular focus on education, learning, technology and communications.

Wojciech holds an MSc in Sport Coaching from the University of Birmingham and joins EOSE following a successful career in the golf industry working at the national and international level. Recently, he has been involved in the EU-funded EDUGOLF project coordinated by EOSE as a representative of the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG). Wojciech’s experience from the EDUGOLF project will ensure a smooth transition into his role at EOSE.

He brings a wealth of experience and competence in areas including international sport education projects, instructional design, and the development of sport education systems, platforms and courses. Wojciech’s experience includes the development of e-learning courses, and his work has had a particular focus on coaching and sports development.

Wojciech is Polish and is based in the city of Szczecin in the north-west of Poland, in addition to Polish and English he can also converse in Spanish.

Wojciech’s first week of work saw him being part of the coordination team in Tirana, Albania, for the Induction Event for the European Standard Course on Sport Administration, being delivered as part of the S2ABC project to enhance sport administration in the Western Balkans.

His experience and knowledge, coupled with his passion for education and people development in the sport sector, will really help drive EOSE forward and allow us to do even more to develop and support the sport sector workforce”.

I am looking forward to meeting and collaborating with the EOSE members and partners, bringing my background in new technologies and education methodologies to support current and future EOSE projects and activities
