The General Assembly in Malta validated the EOSE Executive Board which will lead the organisation into 2026. Three Board Members were unanimously reappointed for a two-year mandate by the EOSE membership.
2026 will be a key year as we develop a new Strategic Action Plan for 2027 – 2029, the Executive Board are relishing this opportunity to cement EOSE at the heart of European sport as a champion of workforce and skills development.
Members of the EOSE Executive Board for 2026 are:
- Kirstie Simpson (University of Chester, UK – EOSE President)
- Simone Digennaro (University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy)
- Abel Santos (ESDRM, Santarém Polytechnic University, Portugal)
- Signe Luika (RSU Latvian Academy of Sport Educaction, Latvia)
- Mark Cutajar (SportMalta, Malta)
- Thierry Zintz (EOSE Past President – non elective position)
