Digital transformation of the sport sector

The project aims to help sport organisations, employers and professionals better understand, anticipate and manage the impact of digital tools, data and artificial intelligence on sport jobs, skills and training needs.

As technology evolves rapidly, the sport sector must adapt. This means not only integrating new digital tools into daily operations, but also equipping the workforce with the right skills to use them effectively and responsibly. TechSportKit responds to this need by combining research, stakeholder consultation, skills analysis and practical training development at European level.

The TechSportKit project aims to:

  • Identify the digital skills required by sport employers and sport organisations,
  • Analyse barriers, enablers and training needs linked to digital transition in sport,
  • Develop a practical digital competency framework tailored to the reality of the sport sector,
  • Design and test training modules and tools to support upskilling and reskilling across Europe.
