The Johan Cruyff Foundation (JCF) – NETHERLANDS

NETHERLANDS

The Johan Cruyff Foundation (JCF) was founded in 1997 in the Netherlands by the world-famous Dutch footballer. JCF’s believes that sport improves the fitness of children, teaches them to interact, and helps their personal development. However, not every child can easily take part in sports and play. JCF’s objective, therefore, is to give children, especially those with disabilities and facing other challenges like obesity and social deprivation as much space as possible to play sports and be active, regardless of their background, culture, gender, race, religion, or ability. Currently, it is involved in 11 development programmes.
