European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE)

Established in 2002, the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) is a not-for-profit association with 37 member organisations across 31 countries. It is officially registered in France with its secretariat based in Lyon.
Over 24 years, EOSE has established itself as a respected, expert organisation in the sport sector at a European level. It is seen as independent and objective and a facilitator and leader in skills development in sport with experience of 73 successful EU-funded projects.
The scope of EOSE covers sport as defined by the Council of Europe. EOSE acts at the European and international level with the goal to serve as a source of knowledge and a strategic facilitator to support the development of sport including employment research, policy recommendations, competency frameworks, training and continuing professional development programmes, qualifications and Vocational Education and Training (VET).
