President's Message

Welcome to the EOSE website! 

This is a really exciting time for EOSE, our members, and all those with an interest in the development of the sector at a European level. 

Through our previous projects such as Vocasport, we have shown the power of working collaboratively in moving the sector forward. We are now seeking to expand our network, expertise and influence through our central involvement in 3 projects and the development of the Alliance. 

This work has placed us at the forefront of Vocational Education and Training (VET) reform in Europe. Our Sector is seen to be pioneering the implementation of the European Qualifications Framework and Credit System, which are seen as so important to harmonising qualifications across the European Union. In turn, this harmonisation will support the movement of labour and the opening of new business opportunities where companies will be able to operate a single system of training and qualifications for their staff that will be portable across the Union.
