1- What is EOSE?

?      EOSE is a European network of national and regional observatoires, public or not for profit, which are involved in several areas such as sport development, sport employment and qualifications.

?       EOSE activity responds to the fact that it is becoming more and more important for the sport policy makers, the sport industry and the training providers of each European country to have an understanding of the needs of the labour market related to sport and also changes affecting this market.

?      The aim of EOSE is to promote a dialogue between employment and education at the national and European level between public authorities, not for profit organisations, training providers, social partners and research organisations.

?       EOSE has started to develop a network which includes national correspondents from each European country.

2- EOSE activities:

?           To develop some methodologies and tools aiming to compare qualitative and quantitative data in relation with sport activity, sport employment, qualification in the sport and sport related sector across Europe including a prospective approach.

?           To collect, analyse and disseminate this data to the potential users.
