15/06/2009 - EUROPEAN INCLUSIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TRAINING - EIPET PROJECT
EOSE Members from Ireland, Kilian Fisher (ILAM) and Catherine Carty (ITT Tralee), would like to highlight a 2 years Leonardo Da Vinci project entitled EIPET (European Inclusive Physical Education Training) that aimed producing a model, module and resource pack for the teaching of inclusive physical education in teacher training Institutions.

On 15 May 2009, an open call for proposals to implement the 2009 Preparatory Action in the field of Sport (EAC/21/2009) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This 2009 call for proposals serves to implement the 2009 Preparatory Action in the field of sport in accordance with Commission Decision C(2009)1685 of 16 March 2009.
10/05/2009 - CALL FOR PROPOSALS EACEA/06/09 - GRANT FOR ACTIONS TO DEVELOP/IMPLEMENT THE EUROPEAN QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK (EQF)
The objective of this call for proposals is to award grants to approximately 6-8 proposals, with participants from the maximum number of countries and sectors, and to organise actions to facilitate consortia that will contribute to a successful and enduring implementation of the EQF, as an overarching framework to facilitate mobility and lifelong learning.
02/05/2009 - EOSE AT THE INFORMAL MEETING OF DIRECTORS GENERAL FOR SPORT IN PRAGUE
Stephen Studd and Aurelien Favre (both from EOSE) were invited as delegates and speaker to the Informal Meeting of Directors General for Sport organised by the Czech Republic Presidency and the European Commission in Prague on 28 and 29 April 2009.
