23/02/2010 - EU STUDY ON VOLUNTEERING: RESULTS NOW AVAILABLE
The key findings of the Study on Volunteering in the EU contracted by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) to GHK and managed by the Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission are now available online.
20/02/2010 - CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE FUNDING MODELS FOR GRASSROOTS SPORTS IN THE INTERNAL MARKET
On 16 February 2010, the Commission organised a conference to give all interested parties the opportunity to give their views on the financing of grassroots sports (i.e. sport for all). The aim was to present the various financing systems across sports disciplines and Member states, to discuss the impact of the economic crisis on grassroots sports financing and identify possible future challenges. 26/01/2010 - NEW PROJECT 2010: LIFELONG LEARNING STRATEGY FOR SPORT
Under the call for proposal “Support for European cooperation in Education and Training Part A - Raising national awareness of lifelong learning strategies and of European cooperation in education and training” (LLP – EACEA/07/09), we are really pleased to inform you that the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) has developed a successful application entitled "Actions towards the Lifelong Learning Strategy for Sport - LLLSPORT".
20/01/2010 - INFORMATION ABOUT EU SPORTS PROJECTS NOW ONLINE
More detailed information about the 18 transnational projects within the Preparatory Action in the field of Sport that were selected for an EU grant has now been published in the form of fact sheets.
 
Each fact sheet includes a description of the project, information about the partners and expected results as well as budgetary information and contact details.
 
Among the projects selected under the 2009 call for proposals we are pleased that the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) together with the European Paralympics Committee (EPC) developed a successful application called “All for Sport for All: “Perspectives of Sport for People with a Disability in Europe”.
