30/10/2010 - EUROPEAN PROJECT - ALL FOR SPORT FOR ALL (Perspective of sport for people with a disability in Europe)

The “ALL FOR SPORT FOR ALL: Perspectives of sport for people with a disability in Europe” project is conjointly run by the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE) and the European Paralympic Committee (EPC) has officially started on 01st of March 2010. This translational project funded by the European Commission was selected under the 2009 call for proposals in the framework of the Preparatory Action in the field of sport in the area of “promoting European fundamental values by encouraging sport for persons with disabilities”.

29/10/2010 - BECOMING THE HUB PROJECT - FINAL CONFERENCE
The EHFA London Summit is scheduled to take place in London on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2010. It will include an International Fitness Standards Meeting and the 3rd EHFA National Associations Forum. 
The final conference of the ‘Becoming the Hub’ project will be part of the EHFA Summit and will result in a Sector Declaration Ceremony in presence of the President of the International Society of Physical Activity and Health, Mr Harold W. Kohl, III, as well as the EU Commission, DG EAC Sport Unit representative, Mr Jacob Kornbeck.

29/10/2010 - MINUTES OF THE INFORMAL MEETING OF DIRECTORS GENERAL FOR SPORT IN BELGIUM (Genval, 16th and 17th September 2010)
the Belgium Presidency, the Informal Meeting of Directors General for Sport was organised on the 16th and 17th of September 2010 and the minutes of this event are now available on the website of the EU Sport Unit in 4 languages.
15/10/2010 - ANNUAL EOSE GENERAL ASSEMBLY & WORKING CONFERENCE 2010
As already announced, the annual EOSE General Assembly and Working Conference 2010 is going to be organised in Brussels (Belgium) on the 09th and 10th of December 2010 at the Bedford Hotel. The event will gather a mix of European Stakeholders and will provide an opportunity to present and discuss ongoing activities within the Sport and Active Leisure Sector, to focus on its realities, future opportunities and challenges around the Education and Training 2020 framework, as well as to build partnerships and relationship across Europe.
