Aligned with the realities and challenges of the Sport and Active Leisure sector, EOSE’s main mission is to ensure that those working in the sector are equipped with the right skills and competences through fit for purpose qualifications. As the sector continues to grow, employers often have difficulties to find competent and qualified employees able to match the requirements and expectations.
To respond to those realities, through the EQF-Sport project, a common
Lifelong Learning Strategy for the Sport and Active Leisure sector (LLL Strategy or 7 steps model) was developed to:
EOSE is delighted to be able to announce that the organisation had been successful in the VSPORT+ application that will be conducted for a period of 29 months until March 2014. The full title of the project is ‘A Cross Sectroral Valorisation Framework for the Lifelong Learning Strategy in Sport’ and is funded by the
Directorate General for Education and Culture through
Key Activity 4 ‘Dissemination and exploitation of results, and exchange of good practices’.
The key aim of VSPORT+ will be to ensure successful dissemination activities through the targeting of key stakeholders in order to raise awareness of the LLL Sport Strategy but also to support the transfer and implementation of the Strategy at the sectoral, European, national, regional, local and international levels through EOSE Membership and Network.
EOSE is delighted to have been given the opportunity to deliver the VSPORT+ project which will give the sector a real opportunity to further raise the awareness of the 7 Steps Model and work towards a concrete valorisation of the process.
