Euroseen - Project Information

This project will target, build and develop a network of key research organisations across European countries (EOSE), all of whom have an interest in developing research related to standards, materials and methods in education and training for the Sports and Active leisure industries.
This project will focus on several activities which are Rugby, Basketball, Tennis and Fitness in five different European countries (Germany, Italy, France, Ireland and the UK) and will carry out research to promote:
- an understanding of enterprises in Sport and Active Leisure.
- an understanding of occupations in Sport and Active Leisure.
- an understanding of training provision aimed at Sport and Active Leisure.
One of the key outcomes will be to obtain information concerning "Skills Gaps and Shortages" in the different relevant areas announced. The project will also develop a guide and an operational tool for organisations wishing to become, or build, an Observatory in Sport and Leisure Activity. A Workforce Development Plan for Europe will be developed as the last outcome of the Euroseen Project. Short Description
